The main purpose of this website is to educate (and the secondary purpose is to entertain). I am an interventional radiologist, which allows me to see into the human body without getting all bloody. Believe me, it’s a definite positive aspect of my day to day.
A little background:
After studying for more years after high school graduation than all the years leading up to it, I finished my medical training and became a board-certified interventional radiologist in 2002.
If you are interested, I studied at and completed degrees at
Johns Hopkins University (BA),
Rush Medical College (MD),
Cleveland Clinic (Internal Medicine Internship),
University of Wisconsin-Madison (Diagnostic Radiology Residency),
University of Maryland Medical Center, “Shock Trauma” (Interventional Radiology Fellowship).
I have practiced in Milwaukee, Naples and Cincinnati. I currently work and reside in Naples with my kind, considerate and adoring wife Amanda, an attorney and superMom. I have three fabulous children who dazzle and surprise us with new and unusual intelligent thoughts everyday. And we have a small horse, no just kidding, a 90 pound dog, a Rhodesian Ridgeback named Stella.
I have had the privilege of working with many intelligent practitioners and have seen many years of medical practice.
One thing I know after all of the years I’ve been doing this…change is the only constant. For that reason, I too must continue to grow and learn with each passing day. I accept that challenge and continue on. It gives my life meaning to help others and I am privileged to be able to do so. Thank you for visiting my site. Please feel free to reach out and ask me questions or share comments or concerns.
